Quest:  The
Quest nightclub is located in downtown Minneapolis.
Formerly owned by Prince, the Quest opened it’s
doors as Glam Slam. The club is dedicated to providing
the highest quality night-life entertainment in
a stimulating atmosphere. Since its inception,
The Quest has redefined the live music and night
life scene in Minneapolis offering an upscale
alternative for dancing, socializing and concert-going
in a unique, creative and comfortable setting.
The Quest has zany décor that looks like
it is out of a movie. It offers four beautifully
themed interiors within the two-story, 24,000
square foot venue including two performance stages.
The size and adaptability of The Quest allows
it to function as a multi-purpose venue, especially
in the area of special events. The combination
of visual impact, state of the art sound and lighting
technology and nationally recognized live and
recorded music has drawn notoriety and a loyal
clientele.
The multilevel club's delicious
music mix of old-school funk, cutting-edge electronica,
alt-rock and R&B make for long lines on weekends
after hours. When the club was known as Glam Slam,
Prince's stone-engraved face decorated the pillars
around the dance floor. However, they've been
removed.
The Quest rivals First Avenue as
Minneapolis' premier live music venue. It rightfully
boasts great atmosphere and music quality and
offers well-attended events by well-dressed club
goers.
