About Oceanaire
:-
The Oceanaire can be a place to go for fish &
chips and a beer or it has been called the local
oyster bar. They also are the place to go if you
want to share a 5 lb. lobster and a bottle of
Champagne. Because of the ample portions and unpretentious
atmosphere, they are often called a seafood restaurant
for people who love steakhouses. More than anything,
The Oceanaire is a restaurant dedicated to celebrating
the difference between fresh and REALLY fresh
seafood.
The Oceanaire is an inviting retro
supper club that serves the freshest fish, flown
in daily from around the world, with a focus on
quality & flavor in both classic & contemporary
preparations. The very design of the restaurant,
evocative of a 1930’s ocean liner, reinforces
the Oceanaire’s devotion to seafood. Effortless
lines & fluid details refine style & elegance
with intricate accents of the 30’s &
40’s, while distinct features such as colorful
mounted fish & lucid seafood quotes painted
directly on the walls temper the formal white
tablecloths & sophisticated red leather booths.
With big-band music swirling through the air &
an energetic atmosphere, The Oceanaire is a great
place to make any occasion unique & unforgettable.
You are invited to dress casually, grab some friends
& come enjoy the fresh oyster bar, award-winning
wine list, note-worthy menu & exceptional
service.
This luxurious restaurant is by
far the finest seafood eatery in the Twin Cities,
and the most expensive. The availability of fish
dictates what is offered on a daily basis. Most
days, diners have a choice of Chilean sea bass,
yellow fin tuna, swordfish steak or Chesapeake
Bay-style crab cakes. Side dishes are served à
la Carte and are large enough to serve four. Appetizers
are served home-style and include grilled calamari,
oysters and jumbo shrimp cocktail. For dessert,
the flaky-crust Key lime pie and brandy-ignited
baked Alaska are without equal.
