About Nochee
:-
Nochee is a new, stylish restaurant & bar
located in downtown Minneapolis within walking
distance of major facilities such as the Metrodome,
Target Center, Convention Center & the Gutherie
Theatre.
They offer a lovely dining room with large dance
floor, an attractive circular bar & a spacious
outdoor patio offers seating up to 150 guests.
The Trojan Room is equipped with free wireless
Internet access, large projector & screen,
an ideal setting for private business or social
events. The lounge area has comfortable couches
& also features free Internet access. A variety
of live entertainment is presented on a nightly
basis for your enjoyment with new events every
month.
Nochee draws a dress-to-impress crowd. The trendy
eatery boasts a Latin vibe--from the cool mojitos
to the lively dance floor. Friendly servers offer
trustworthy meal suggestions.
Although the cuisine is called "American
with global influences," the menu is arranged
by courses encouraging a slow European dining
experience. Among the creative small plates, the
spicy red snapper seviche pleases the palate with
cool raw fish, ginger and peppers while the lightly
battered, Italian-style calamari drizzled with
salt and lemon melts in the mouth. For the second
course, the tender risotto and couscous with mint
and lamb is a great dish to share. Seafood entrees
impress--the seared tender scallops feature a
succulent center and the flaky, pan-fried halibut
is paired with a zesty chorizo hash. Executive
Chef Walther Buffalo changes the menu daily and
insists on using only the finest of ingredients.
His meal choices and succulent desserts are sure
to wow any crowd.
